Uber Gift Cards Bought with Crypto: Country, Currency and Eligible Trips
Choose an Uber gift card issued for the country where the recipient will use Uber, with the matching currency. Uber says the code is added to the account’s Uber Cash balance for eligible rides or orders and cannot be transferred after redemption. It is account credit, not a general-purpose payment voucher.

Redeem only into the intended personal account
Once the code is added, Uber says its amount cannot be transferred to another account. The recipient should therefore verify the signed-in account before entering the code.
Account-free shopping on Giftoshi does not bypass Uber account rules. The buyer supplies first name, last name and email to Giftoshi; Uber controls the later account and service eligibility.
A familiar brand still needs a local match
Scenario: a buyer in France wants to help a friend with a US airport ride. The buyer’s location does not select the card. The friend’s intended Uber country and the gift card’s issue country must match.
